The Vienna branch of the Rothschild family has renounced Austrian citizenship in favor of Czecho-Slovakian, says a report in the local TRIBUNA. The paper suggests that this move was inspired by apprehension felt for some time among the Rothschilds that the protection Austria is able to give them and their interests is inadequate.
