The first national Conference of the “Ort”, (American Society for Advancement of Trades and Agriculture among the Jews) will be held in New York Sunday March 18, it is announced.
Among the organizations electing delegates to the Conference are Independent Order Brith Abraham, Independent Order Brith Sholom, United Roumanian Jews of America, Ukrainian Federation, Jewish National Workers Alliance, Independent Workmen’s Circle, International Furriers’ Union, United Hebrew Trades, and others.
