Spain, which banished the Jews in the 15th century has changed her mind at least as to one Jew, Professor Albert Einstein.

Last night following a meeting of the Academy of Science at which the Minister of Education presided, Einstein was offered “in the name of the Spanish nation a new home shoud the troubles of your own country impede the tranquil continuation of your studies.”

The meeting came as the climax of a series of three lectures delivered here by Prof. Einstein on his theory of relativity. Einstein has made a great impression throughout the educational circles of Spain.
