A ritual blood accusation against the Bialystok Jews was nipped in the bud here by the timely discovery of the proposed plot.

After torturing and attempting to slay his despised daughter, a non-Jewish peasant conceived the idea of exonerating himself by spreading the report that the Jews had attacked her seeking her blood for ritual purposes.

Reports of the matter leaked out and is now being investigated by the police.
