The Royal Family was represented at the funeral of Chief Rabbi Dr. Baek of Bucharest on March 1. Among those present was M. Banu, the Minister for Religious Affairs, and many representatives of public bodies.
Rabbi Baek was 77 years old. He was decorated by the King with the Cross of the Knights of Coreanus Romanei and was a Commander of the Order “Steanua Romanei”.
