Because "Nathan the Wise", a film based on Lessing’s book by that name, "tends to idolize the Jew", the censorship bureau of the Ministry of Interior has prohibited the projection of this "movie". The "anti-Jewish feeling" throughout Poland renders the projection of this film highly undesirable, is the explanation accompanying the prohibition order.
