The London “Morning Post” publishes a story to the effect that rumors are rife that King Hussein has decided to recall the present Minister to London Dr. Najie Al Hasin, and to suspend the present negotiations with Great Britain owing to the great dissatisfaction aroused in Arab circies by the treaty recently concluded between Hussein with England.

Hussein is dispatching a deputy foreign minister with new proposals, says the Post.

The Hejjaz legation at Cairo publishes a statement declaring that the Hejjaz would never tolerate “protection under any foreign power” nor “would it permit its sacred places to be under foreign influence.” Moreover, Palestine, it declares, must have complete independence.
