Thousands of New York salesmen traveling in every state in the country will be enlisted in the drive to raise funds for the Federation for the Support of Jewish Philanthropic Societies. Herbert L Schamberg is the chairman of the newly organized branch.

The campaign was inaugurated to help raise the Federation’s $500000 deficit, but it has been decided to maintain the traveling salesmen branch as a permanent organization even after the deficit is covered.
