Menorah Summer School Attracts Students

The Menorah Summer School conducted by the Intercollegiate Menorah Association is now in full swing, having opened its sessions July 9 in the building of the Society for the Advancement of Judaism, 41 West 86th Street. Among the lecturers are Professor Foakes-Jackson of the Union Theological Seminary and Professor Jacob Mann of the Hebrew Union College. Other members of the faculty are Dr. Julius Drachsler of City college, N.Y.; Dr. Isaac Husik of the University of Pennsylvania Dr. Nathan Isaacs of the University of Pittsburg, Dr. Horace M. Kallen of the New School for Social Research, Dr. Jacob Z. Lauterbach, Hebrew Union College, Dr. Max L. Margolies, Dropsie College, Dr. H.S. Linfield, of the Bureau for Jewish Social Research, Rabbi Louis A. Mischkind and Henry Hurwitz, Chancellor of the Menorah. A series of lectures on the conditions of Jews in European countries is given by Marvin Lowenthal, Associate Editor of the Menorah Journal.
