Jews Unrepresented in Esthonia Assembly

The now Esthonian parliament which has just convened, has not a single Jewish representative, despite the fact that the Jewish population is in excess of 5,000 and the ratio of representation is about 1 for 4,000.

The Parliament numbering 110 deputies has the following alignment:

Rights, 25 deputies; Center, 38; Social Democrats. 20; Communists. 10. The Russians and the Germans have together 7, forming a separate minority bloc.
