The local offices of the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee and the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society were closed all day Friday in respect to the memory of President Harding.

The great Tolmasce Synagogue where special memorial services for the late American president were held this morning was crowded to capacity. Following eulogies of President Harding by the rabbi and some of the more prominent American Jews now in Warsaw, “El Mali Rachamim”, the Hebrew prayer for the repose of the dead, was chanted by the cantor and choir.
