Karl Kautsky, veteran Socialist leader, advises the Jews of Russia to join hands with the democratic forces in that country to overthrow Bolshevism. This advice is contained in an article by Kautsky in the Labor Magazine wherein the writer explains that the Czarist oppression of the Jews drove them into all the revolutionary parties. This, he says, explains also their connection with Bolshevism. The Bolshevik dictatorship, he goes on to say, has made individual Jews powerful but the Jewish people as a whold has suffered like the non-Jewish population.
Kautsky believes that the fall of Bolshevism will result in a terrible flood of hatred against Bolshevism being loosed upon the Jews, if the masses will identify Bolshevism with the Jews.
He concludes that, however, the white terror is not the only way of destroying Bolshevism but rather by the growth of a democratic feeling Russian Jews will overthrow Bolshevism without pogroms. To this task, he says, Russian Jews should devote themselves.
