An urgent call to proceed immediately to Jerusalem was received here today by Dr. Cohen, the representative of the Agudath Israel, who is now in London on a political mission.

His task is to explain to the English Parliament the attitude of the orthodox Agudath Israel toward the Palestinian problems.

The “Daily Express” discloses that Israel DeHaan had received, previous to his assassination, several threatening letters warning him to stop his anti-Zionist activities. One of these letters is alleged to have been written on the stationery of the Palestinian Government. The fact that the murder was committed in the very heart of Jerusalem, and that the murderer was able to escape proves, the paper states, that it was deliberately planned and well-arranged.

The “Daily Mail” eulogizes DeHaan, and states that the murder was committed by “Godless athiests.”
