There is very little desire among the growing young Jews of Hungary to prepare themselves for Rabbinical careers, according to the registration at the Jewish high-school maintained by the Jewish community here.
Out of a registration of one thousand boys, only one declared his intention of becoming a Rabbi. As a result of this the class of instruction for those preparing themselves for the Rabbinate, at the high-school, will be abolished.
