Jewish Young Men in Hungary Do Not Want to Become Rabbis

There is very little desire among the growing young Jews of Hungary to prepare themselves for Rabbinical careers, according to the registration at the Jewish high-school maintained by the Jewish community here.

Out of a registration of one thousand boys, only one declared his intention of becoming a Rabbi. As a result of this the class of instruction for those preparing themselves for the Rabbinate, at the high-school, will be abolished.
