Leading German Monarchists Involved in Rathenau Murder

The arrest of Gunter Brand at Munich, charged with participation in the murder of Walter Rathenau, has led to the discovery of many sensational documents, causing great consternation in leading monarchistic and anti-Semitic circles.

It has been revealed that Brand was the secretary of a secret society formed for the purpose of murdering Rathenau. Many of the monarchists, whose names are mentioned in the documents, have hurriedly left Germany for Austria.
