The Secretary of the Arab Executive Committee recently began the practice of commenting upon reports appearing in the Zionist press in Palestine, for the local Arab press. One of its latest comments deals with the Jewish immigration to Palestine, and reads as follows:
“There are three opinions on immigration. The first is the nation’s opinion, the second is the government’s and the third is the opinion of the Zionist Organization. The nation’s opinion is well-known but the government’s is that immigration into Palestine is permitted only to those who seek work here. The Zionist Organization’s opinion is, that immigrants must stream into Palestine whether there is need for them or not, since they wish the Jews in Palestine to be a majority and not a minority. If the Jews will settle in Palestine in large numbers they will force the Arabs to leave the country or be their servants. The Zionist Organization says that thousands of workers must come, even without work, for two reasons. The first is to oblige the inhabitants to take Jewish workmen, and the second is to oblige the Jews to find work for these workers.
