At yesterday’s city election Mr. Nathan Phillips was elected Alderman and Mr. S. Factor re-elected as a member of the Board of Education.
Mr. Benjamin Fox who was elected on Monday by acclamation to serve as Public School trustee, is the first Jew elected to serve here in that capacity.
