Fifteen hundred Jewish workers yesterday attended a special meeting held here in connection with the death of Premier Lenin. The meeting place was too small to admit several thousand more who waited outside. The addresses of the speakers were received with tears and many women became hysterical.

Telegrams expressing deep sorrow at the death of the Soviet leader are coming from Jewish communities all over Russia. The Jewish community in Moscow has called a special meeting to consider in what form it might participate in the funeral.
