Two Jewish congressmen, Adolph J. Sabath of Chicago and Julius Kahn of California, Chairman of the House of Military Affairs Committee, attended the funeral of Woodrow Wilson, having been appointed by the speaker of the House as members of a special committee representing the House of Representatives.

The Jewish Community of Chicago arranged by telegraph for a wreathed which was sent to the Wilson home.
