There is no reason to expect a change in the government’s policy in Palestine and Mesopotamia, according to a semi-official statement in the Daily Telegraph, which states:

“Premier Macdonald has repeatedly expressed himself as in favor of the Palestine Mandate”

The Evening Standard states that it is authoritatively informed there will be no change in the policy in Palestine. The Premier and Henderson particularly had already recorded the views of the Labor Party, but there has been some doubt of the new Colonial Secretary’s attitude. The Evening Standard states that it is now able to say that Secretary Thomas is not expected to advance any modifications.
