Three hundred and fifty delegates participated in an imposing opening of the third annual conference of the Jewish Merchants Association here today. Guests of honor at the conference were the Polish Ministers of Commerce and Finance. In the opening address Senator Trusker appealed to the Jews to fulfill their obligations of citizenship and to support the new Polish note bank, despite chicaneries on the part of taxation officials.

The Central Jewish Merchants Association of Posen has refused the invitation of participation in the Posen Fair, replying as long as the safety of Jews is not guaranteed and Polish Merchants use anti-Jewish slogans, participation of Jewish merchants in the Fair is impossible.
