Only Half the Jews in Czechoslovakia Admit Their Jewishness

The Jewish population of Czecho-Slovakia was officially announced today as 354,000. An interesting fact in connection with the announcement is that only 53 per cent, acknowledge themselves as Jews, while 21 per cent registered as Czecho-Slovakians and 14 percent, as Germans.
