Dr. Joseph Skoretzki, General Secretary of the Hias, left for Paris today for the purpose of effecting an arrangement in order to prevent further discrimination against Jewish workmen by the French agents who are at present in Poland recruiting workmen for the re-construction work in the devastated areas of France.

The French Bureau in Warsaw makes it a practice to reject Jewish workmen, declaring that they do not have the necessary qualifications for the work in France.

Dr. Skoretzki will confer with Jewish organizations, in order to effect the diversion of part of the Jewish Polish emigration into the devastated areas of France and will take the necessary steps to change the tactics of the French Recruiting Bureau in Warsaw.
