David Sarnoff, Vice-President and General Manager of the Radio Corporation of America in an address delivered at the Third Annual Radio Conference called here by Secretary of Commerce Herbert Hoover, outlined a plan of super-power broadcasting which, he declared, the Radio Corporation of America was prepared to inaugurate by the installation of a great experimental superbroadcasting station, to be located at some point outside of New York City.
The proposed station, Mr. Sarnoff declared, might have a power rating of as high as 50 kilowatts, if no regulatory proposals are adopted that would limit the art.
