Palestine Not an Issue in British Elections

None of the British parties now engaged in the election fight has made an election issue of the Palestine question, although the question of the British mandate over Mesopotamia is being discussed.

In the election campaign of the Liberal Party, the question of Great Britain’s withdrawal from Mesopotamia has been made an issue. The Liberals condemn the Mesopotamian mandate and declare that Iraq is not worth the fight over Mosul, for which the Turks, Hedjas and France are rivals.
