A united Central Executive Committee of the Zionists in Poland was formed here today, consisting of two representatives of each of the four largest cities in Poland, Warsaw, Vilna, Cracow and Lemberg.
Until recently, the Zionist movement in Poland worked as four separate organizations, according to the previous division of the territories now comprising the Polish Republic. There was one Zionist Organization in Congress Poland, one in the Vilna district, one in Eastern Galicia and another in Western Galicia.
A formal statement from the new Executive as to the unification of the movement and the election of a common Central Committee is expected shortly.
Simultaneously, the Zionist members of the Polish Sejm have formed a separate club which will be a part of the Jewish Kolo. Thus will be ended the anomaly that the Eastern Galicia Zionist deputies headed by Dr. Reich, were frequently voting in Parliament with the orthodox deputies, against the other Zionist members, under the leadership of Deputy Gruenbaum.
