Cardinal Barlassina, representative of the Vatican in Jerusalem, was received in a secret audience by Pope Pius XV today. It is understood that Cardinal Barlassina reported to the Pope on conditions in Palestine.
Vatican circles are preparing representations to be submitted to the Council of the League of Nations which will be held here on December 8, when the report of the Permanent Mandates Commission on the Palestine situation will be taken up.
