Friends of Mrs. Manya Schochat have been informed officially that her arrest on September 19th was due to some misunderstanding of the nature of the warrant on the part of the Police Officer.
As to the allegation that the arrest had some connection with the murder of Dr. de Haan the Government has replied that no such report emanated from the Police.
