Dr. Edouard Mayer, famous German historian, delivered a lecture yesterday at the Hebrew University on Mt. Scopus, on the subject of “Legends and Beginnings of Israel’s History.”

Many of the Christian scholars who are residents of Palestine, professors of the Hebrew University, students, and the German Consul were present.

Dr. Joseph Klausner, lecturer on modern Hebrew Literature in the Institute of Jewish Studies of the University, translated parts of the lecture from German into Hebrew.
