The Hungarian counterfeiting plotters were defended by Professor Alexander Cuza, leader of the Romanian anti-Semites in an article in his organ, “Parerea National.”

“These Hungarian nationalists are engaged as we are, in settling the Zhid (Jew) question,” he declares. he warns the public not to regard the plotters as criminals.
