The emigration of Jews from the Eastern provinces of the Polish Republic to South American countries has increased during the last few months.

The emigration has assumed the character of a mass movement from the castern provinces, which are suffering most both politically and economically.

Many steamship companies have opened special branches in these provinces for the accommodation of the Jewish emigrants.

The emigration of Polish Jews to Australia has begun. During the last year 114 Jewish emigrants left for Australia.
