Elections to the Jewish Soviets in Ukrainian towns and villages were concluded, reports received here state.
Fifty to sixty per cent of the Jewish population participated in the elections.
Last year’s officers of the Charity Chest of the fur industry were unanimously reelected at a meeting of the directors. They are Michael Hollander, President; Max Cohen, Vice President; Adolph Engel, Treasurer; Simon J. Steiner, Secretary.
