Rabbi Israel Freidman. the Czortkow rebbe (Chassidic rabbi) will settle in Palestine in a colonv which is being founded by his adherents, it was learned here today.
The adherents of the rabbi plan to acquire a strip of land amounting to 1,000 dunams in the Valley of Jezreel. The colony will be named Beth David in memory of Rabbi Friedman’s father, the famous Chassidic rabbi.
