The first group of Zionist-Revisionists in Italy has just been formed at Milan under the leadership of Advocate Carpi.

The group will undertake propoganda activity among the Italian Zionists and Italian Jewry in general and will endeavor to bring about the establishment of other groups of Zionist-Revisionists in Italy, it was stated.

HADASSAH CONVENTION WILL HEAR PROPOSALS FOR SOCIAL AND HEALTH WORK

A budget calling for three-quarters of a million dollars for hospital and welfare work in Palestine will be submitted at the twelfth annual convention of Hadassah, the Women’s Zionist Organization of America, which meets in Buffalo on June 30th and July 1st.

The chief topic of discussion at the convention will be a proposed million dollar fund for a chain of hospitals in Palestine, to be erected by Hadassah in conjunction with the American Jewish Physician’s Committee whose list of members is, in effect, a catalogue of the leading Jewish medical men of the country.

Other business that will come before the convention will be an enlarged budget for Hadassah health and social welfare work in Palestine, and the strengthening of the organization in America. The budget for the year just ending was over a half million dollars. Dr. Nathan Ratnoff, chairman of the joint committee of Hadassah and the Physicians’ Committee which has in charge the chain hospital project, and Mrs. Archibald Silverman, of Providence, R. I., will open the discussion of the plan to increase Hadassah’s medical work in Palestine at a dinner to the delegates on Wednesday evening, June 30th, by the Cleveland chapter.
