Slaughter of Cattle in Palestine Prohibited

The slaughter of cattle for food was prohibited by the Palestine Government due to the spreading of murrain among the cattle imported from Syria.

The Government has issued an appeal to the population urging it to assist the authorities in the enforcement of the measure to prevent a national calamity.
