The renewal of warfare at Gouta is reported in a despatch from Jerusalem by Jamal Husseini, Secretary of the Palestine-Arab Congress Executive, to the London National League.

The Arab leader reports that the Druse rebels have concentrated on Gouta and launched a counter-attack on the French. The Damascus rebels report that the French have suffered a loss of 700 dead and wounded. The French, following defeat, have cut off the water supply of Gouta and caused intense suffering to the population. Trees and crops are being destroyed for lack of water.
