Several scores of Jewish families in the city of Jassina, Czechoslovakia, are threatened with expulsion from the country.

The situation arose because of the refusal of the Czech officials to recognize the citizenship of the Jewish residents, in spite of the fact that they had been resident in the city for fifty years and their sons had served in the Czechoslovakian army.
