Dr. A. Grinius, president of the Republic of Lithuania, attended the Conference of the Oze, the Jewish Health Society, of Lithuania, which was held here. The president delivered a message of greeting to the conference.
The Lithuanian Oze was formed in 1921 and has been very active in conducting health activity among the Jewish population. It is at present erecting a big Jewish health building in Kovno.
Eighteen delegates were present at the Conference. Messages of cresting have been sent by the Conference to the headquarters of the Oze Federation in Berlin and to the Joint Distribution Committee in New York.
