Critical comment of Jewish participation in the government offices in Soviet Russia was voiced by Bishop Herbert Bury in an address he delivered yesterday at St. Anne’s Church.

Bishop Bury, who recently returned from Russia, asserted that the will of the Soviet government is carried out largely through the medium of its Jewish officials. He would not, however for one moment say a word against the Jews as a race, he declared. There is, nevertheless, he stated, a certain type of the materialistic, godless and unbelieving Jew, as is accurately described in the Old Testament. The Jews in power in Russia today are of the same order as those who stoned the Prophets, the Bishop stated.
