An international Jewish conference to combat white slave traffic may be held in London during next year, it was learned here today.
S. Cohen, secretary of the London Jewish Association for the protection of Girls and Women, has left for the Continent in connection with the convocation of such a conference. He will visit Poland, Germany, Roumania and other countries to confer with representatives of social agencies.
Fae West, a chorus girl in Ziegfield’s Follies, embraced Judaism to marry Dr. John Jaffin of New York. The ceremony took place at the St. Regis Hotel on Sunday. Mrs. Jaffin who is the daughter of Mrs. Lillian Fitzgerald, was a Catholic.
