The attitude of the new Pilsudski government toward the problems of the Jewish population in the Republic of Poland was made clear yesterday at a conference of representatives of the Club of Jewish Deputies and Professor Bartel who holds the post of vice premier in the new cabinet.

The leaders of the Club of Jewish Deputies asked for a definition of the stand of the new cabinet and pointed out that the demands of the Jewish population have remained unfulfilled. Vice-premier Bartel declared that the attitude of the new government is identical with that of the previous government and that it is striving to meet the demands of the Jewish population.
