Plumer Urges Palestine Observe Armistice Day

Armistice Day will be observed in Palestine this year in accordance with a proclamation issued by the High Commissioner, Lord Plumer.

The proclamation urges the population to suspend business at eleven o’clock on Armistice Day and to observe a two minutes silence. The government offices will be closed and a parade of ex-service men will be held.
