Alexander Moissi, famous Jewish actor, will go to Palestine for a lecture tour the early part of next year.

The Ocean Parkway Jewish Center, Brooklyn, N. Y., was dedicated on Sunday.

Louis Marshall was the principal speaker. “I have the privilege of being an optimist and I looked upon Jewish life not through the dark spectacles through which it has been viewed by some. I consider the prospect for Jewish life and for this temple brilliant and rosy,” he said.

Albert Ottinger, Attorney General of the State of New York, in his address praised Mr. Marshall, calling him “America’s Greatest Jew.” More than 1,200 attended the ceremonies.

Other speakers were Rabbi Jacob Bosniak of the new Center, John L. Bernstein, chairman of the dedication committee: Martin N. Weinstein, architect; William Treib, chairman of the building committee: Harry Falk, president of the congregation; Charles Breitbart, associate chairman of the dedication committee, and Mrs. Mitchell Leventhal, president of the Ladies’ Auxiliary.
