Jerusalem Jews Creet Lord Balfour on Anniversary of Declaration

A message of greetings was sent to Lord Balfour on the occasion of the ninth anniversary of the Balfour Declaration for the establishment of the Jewish National Home in Palestine. by a gathering here in celebration of the event and to honor Col. Josiah Wedgwood, British labor leader.

The message read. “A widely representative Jewish gathering in Jerusalem, celebrating the ninth anniversary of your declaration, tenders profoundest sentiments of gratitude, devotion and sincere wishes that you continue in health and strength.”
