Col. Globatschoff, one of the Russian monarchist leaders and known for his anti-Semitic activities, was executed by the Communist government in Charkoff, Ukraine, despatches received here state.
Col. Globatschoff, who was the aide of the well known anti-Semitic agitator under the Czarist regime, Purischkewitsch, former member of the Russian Duma, was charged with being a contrarevolutionary spy and with having crossed the Russian frontier illegally for the purpose of organizing monarchistic organizations there.
Globatschoff was the leader of the Russian Black Hundred, the well known hooligan bands which operated under the Czarist regime, being responsible for many anti-Jewish pogroms. He was the editor of the “Odesskaya Rezina” and was a close friend of Krushevan and Pelikan who organized the pogroms of 1905.
