Professor Fishkulescu, who is known in Roumania for his philo-semitic writings, was for a long time refused a professorship in the Roumanian universities because of his friendly attitude toward the Jews.

Professor Fishkulescu recently returned from Palestine, following which he wrote an enthusiastic book on the country. He is also preparing a translation of the Bible into Roumanian.
