Amsterdam International to Intervene for Jewish Labor Leader in Poland

The International Federation of Trade Unions, with headquarters in Amsterdam, will submit a plea to the Polish government against the sentence of 18 months imprisonment imposed by the Czenstochowa court upon Dr. Kruk, Jewish labor leader. Kruk was committed to prison immediately the sentence was pronounced.

Dr. Kruk’s counsel appealed to the Warsaw Court of Appeals to release the prisoner on bail.
