Regional Conferences of U. P. A. Will Be Held

Regional conferences will convene beginning the end of December to inaugurate local drives for the United Palestine Appeal which seeks to raise $7,500,000 during 1927.

These regional conferences will be addressed by members of the delegation to this country, headed by Dr. Chaim Weizmann and including Dr. Georg Halpern, head of the Jewish Colonial Trust; Dr. Chaim Arlosoroff; Dr. Selig Brodetsky, Professor of Mathematics at the University of Leeds and member of the Board of Governors of the Hebrew University.

The first of the series of regional conferences will be held in Buffalo, on December 26. Delegates from the Western New York State Region will convene at this gathering.

On January 2, the Eastern Pennsylvania Regional conference will be held in Atlantic City. The Eastern New York State Conference will meet in Albany, on January 16.

Simultaneous with the opening of the Atlanta, Ga., campaign, the Southern Region will hold its conference in Atlanta, on February 20. The Southern New England conference will be held in New Haven on February 27.
