Roumanian Agency Attempts to Silence Jewish Protests

An attempt to silence the protests of the Jewish communities abroad against the anti-Jewish excesses in Roumania was made by the Orient Radio Agency with headquarters here. In a despatch sent out to its subscribers, the Orient Radio Agency, quotes an editorial of an unknown Jewish weekly, “Unser Wort,” which, it is alleged, condemns “the intervention of foreign Jews in the affairs of Roumanian Jews.” The Roumanian Jews will be able to defend their rights only through a continued manifestation of their loyalty and by upholding the internal peace in Roumania. the agency quotes.
