President Coolidge received Dr. Chaim Weizmann and Commander J. M. Kenworthy at the White House yesterday. It is understood that during the conversation, the efforts now being made by Dr. Weizmann to bring about united action on the part of American Jews in the rebuilding of Palestine were touched upon and that the President expressed satisfaction with this plan.
Sir Esme Howard, British Ambassador, who accompanied Dr. Weizmann and Commander Kenworthy to the White House, cutertained the president of the Zionist Organization and Commander Kenworthy at luncheon.
One of the most important events of Dr. Weizmann’s present visit to Washington was a dinner and reception tendered by Mrs. Medill McCormick, widow of the leading social figures in Washington political and diplomatic circles.
